do you know how it feels to have a friend move away?  probably not.  if you do, i sympathise with you.  in any case, do you know how it feels to help them move, even if you don't want to?  ha, bet you can't beat that.

i can.  in fact, i had to help my best friend/sister move today.  by order of her mother, because i was at their house.  i feel like crap right now, because i've been sobbing for the last hour or so.

the wind at my back......  wow, i wish everything were just like this song.  life is a song of fate, that is always played.  the three aspects of fate have everything to do with us.  one weaves the thread of our lives, one measures the lenth, and the last cuts the thread with her scissors.  you who complain that your life sucks shouldn't be.  there are people out there who have it worse off than you do.  in fact, there are people whop no longer have it at all.  the dead.

around this time of year, i remember what i felt last year, the pain of losing a loved one.  it wrenches my heart to think that i will never see grandma opal again, i and i have regrets of stuff i did or didn't do with her before she died.  of course, there are other things that cross my mind, instead of happiness, but i try to focus on the good times we had together, the few times i saw her.  the other night, i had a concert, and sang loch lomond acapello.  after the concert, i got in dad's car to go home.  he said that grandma opal would be very happy to hear what i had just sang, and what he said made me start to cry.

that proves that those close to you can cheer you up in the worst of times.
